Interior Door Systems recently collaborated with The Furniture Union to deliver an exceptional project for a client in a traditional West London apartment. The challenge was to create a freestanding sliding door system for a tight alcove, harmonizing with the existing color scheme.
Facing modular size constraints, IDS crafted a bespoke unit in Egger Dark Cordoba Olive with Gemini Black Frames. Measuring 1400mm wide x 2250mm high x 610mm deep, the interior featured a shelf and hanging rail. Shipped flat pack for easy transport and accessibility, it was assembled on-site for a seamless fit.
From concept to completion in just 2 weeks, the project was a success. Impressed by the unique design and service quality, The Furniture Union has since partnered with IDS on various projects across the UK. The apartment owner praised the sliding door system, stating, “It transformed my bedroom into an organized haven, maintaining design continuity.”
