Sales Office Manager


We are a National Leading Manufacturer and supplier of Sliding Storage Systems and Interiors, due to our Continued Growth Strategy , we are looking for a pleasant and presentable person to join our company as part of our Management Team.

The correct applicant will be a Self-Motivated individual who will be prepared to drive the internal sales. Working internally from our head office in Warrington, you will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the sales office, alongside finance administration.

This will include the management and development of the Customer Service Team, ensuring that every interaction with a customer is a positive one from, quotation through to installation of the business’s products.

The role will require liaison and collaboration with the Sales and Marketing Director as well as the Production Manager and in effect you will become the link between Sales and Production to drive quality throughout all departments. Our sales department is a relatively fast-moving environment, so you and your team will need the ability to operate effectively and accurately, under pressure to deliver results.

Duties and Responsibilities will include: –

1- Train and develop customer service team to improve processes and deliver excellent customer service.

2- Leading the Customer Service team and setting the vision for customer expectations, team performance, and how you and your team supports customers whenever they need us.

3- Create detailed customer journey maps to visualise the end-to-end customer experience.

4- Develop a plan for customer engagement and ensure this is adhered to and analyse customer feedback through reviews.

5 – Manage customer queries promptly and effectively, resolving conflicts to maintain customer satisfaction.

The type of work you’ll be expected to do…

  • Review outstanding actions such as quotes and projects
  • Set tasks for the day
  • Oversee all incoming sales enquiries
  • Liaise with production making sure that projects are on track
  • Identifying opportunities for sales
  • Day to day review of actions and next day planning

Please be aware that whilst this is primarily an internal role you will be required to make occasional visits to customers.

Experience and Requirements

  • You should have a proven track record of delivering customer service within a business, within a managerial role.
  • You must have excellent communication skills and have a positive, assertive character.
  • You should be goal and target focused.
  • You will be forward thinking and have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of computer software including MS Word, MS Excel and PPT.
  • Ideally you will have a good knowledge of manufacturing, operational processes.
  • You must either already have experience in supporting staff to develop their potential or at least be able to demonstrate how you would approach this.
  • You must have a full driving license.


  • Annual salary of between £26,000 and £32,000 depending on experience
