National Business Development Manager – Interior Door Systems Ltd
Field-Based Role | 1 Day per Week at Northwest Head Office

£35,000 Basic Salary | OTE £55,000–£60,000+ | Uncapped Commission

Interior Door Systems Ltd is a market-leading UK manufacturer of sliding and hinged
wardrobe doors & accessories, serving KBB retailers, developers, and builders’ merchants
nationwide.

We are seeking a talented and driven National Business Development Manager to join our
growing team. This field-based role focuses on both expanding our customer base and
managing key existing accounts across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing KBB retailers, merchants, and developer
    accounts (60%)
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across untapped regions (40%)
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional service and product delivery
  • Present product ranges and negotiate commercial agreements with prospective clients
  • Attend trade events and customer meetings nationwide, with weekly visits to HQ in the
    Northwest

What we’re looking for:

  • ✔ Minimum 2 years’ experience in the KBB sector
  • ✔ Proven success in account management and business development roles
  • ✔ Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • ✔ Self-starter with the ability to work independently and travel nationally as required

Job description

We are a leading manufacturer and supplier of sliding wardrobe doors and due to our continued growth, we are looking for a pleasant and presentable person to join our company as part of our site fitters team. Basic joinery skills and the ability to operate standard hand tools is required. You will be a part of our dynamic team, fitting sliding doors, wardrobes and various bedroom furniture. The successful candidate will be required to work on various sites, alongside our partners, on new build homes, as well as existing private domestic clients.

What you will require ;

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Rights to work in UK
  • Familiarity with basic handyman /woodwork and associated hand tools and equipment – Set up and operate multiple hand tools i.e. planers, jigsaws, drills etc. (Further training will be provided)
  • Good time keeping is essential
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently
  • You will also have to be able to work on your own or as part of a team
  • CSCS Card (preferred, not essential)

Hours of work

Mon-Thur 8.15 to 4.45pm
Fri 8.00 to 4.30pm

Successful applicants will need to be flexible, as some early/late finishes may be required, and occasional overnight stop out’s will be required during the course of the year.
